# Task Modes

BestBuy Canada Task Modes

## Bypass Mode

This mode is faster than normal mode on restocks if you're running 24/7.It basically pre-carts the product that you are running for. 

### Setting up tasks:

Select the "Bypass" option from the Mode dropdown.

## Safe Mode

This mode should be used for drops. It uses a safer checkout process that goes through all the steps.

### Setting up tasks:

Select the "Safe" option from the Mode dropdown.

## In-Store Mode

This mode should be run for products that are only available for In-Store pickup. 

### Setting up tasks:

Select the "In-Store" option from the Mode dropdown. 

* It uses the Billing Zip Code in your profile to monitor
* It monitors the 5 closest stores to your Zip Code
* It uses the card on your profile to pay the item online, so make sure to use a valid card

## Monitor/Receiver Mode

This mode is used to monitor a specific SKU and as soon as the item restocks or is available, the **Receiver** tasks with the same SKU automatically start the checkout process. We recommend using this mode for restocks. 

### Setting up tasks:

Select the "Monitor" option from the Mode dropdown. Run 1 monitor task per SKU.

Select the "Receiver" option from the mode dropdown. You can run as many receiver tasks as you'd like. As soon as the monitor tasks with a SKU picks up a product, the receiver task with the same SKU will attempt to add the product to cart and checkout.
